“I can honestly say that being a part of this project is one of the things I am most proud of so far in my life to date“
“The thing that is so remarkable and humbling about this project is the basic principle of “unity” it is so clearly founded on. To the outside world there would be no similarities found among the range of volunteers here; in skin color, age, gender, and education. However the tie that binds is a really beautiful hope and unrelenting commitment to affect change for some loving and caring families that are desperately needing AND deserving of this support. There is a joke here about “who’s going to cry today…?” meaning the adults, and not the children! It is nearly impossible to contain emotions when so often seeing the look of gratification on a child’s face when a milestone is accomplished, or the overwhelming pride a parent experiences when they witness it. I can honestly say that being a part of this project is one of the things I am most proud of so far in my life to date.”
